A professional security crew will be taking care of guarding the entire festival area, ensuring worry-free fun for all attendees. It is strictly forbidden to bring any objects capable of harming anyone into the festival area. According to Hungarian law, you may not carry any objects that may disturb the public order or pose a threat to others’ safety (e.g. knives with a blade longer than 8 cm, spring knives, gas spray, pepper spray, bats and batons, lead-weighted sticks and clubs, stick/rope/chain weapons of any kind). Carrying any of these counts as a misdemeanour. You cannot bring glass objects, striking, piercing or cutting tools (including hammers and small axes)! In Hungary, both the consumption and possession of both light and hard drugs are punishable offenses, therefore it is also strictly forbidden to bring them to Rockmaraton! ENTRY TO THE FESTIVAL AREA When entering the festival area you will undergo a security check every time. Only whole, undamaged wristbands will be accepted: wristbands that are torn or otherwise damaged do not grant access to the festival. Every bag and piece of luggage will be thoroughly checked and searched at the gate. Apart from the safety prohibitions, it is also forbidden to bring alcohol and soft drinks to the festival area. You may, however, bring UNOPENED bottles of water and a reasonable, non-commercial amount of tobacco and foodstuffs with you (reasonable amount: meant for personal consumption). Four-day passes are valid from the 11th of July 10:00 AM until the 15th of July, 12:00 PM (noon). Day tickets start their validity at 1:00 AM on the day of and lasts until 12:00 PM (noon) the next day. You may stay at the festival location (including the campsite!) until the following day’s noon.
The festival will have medical service and emergency ambulance available all day. The SOS emergency tent and the ambulance will be available for all attendees 24 hours a day. Please take care of each other and help the medical staff’s work!
The festival grounds have separate, women’s and men’s flush toilets that are cleaned regularly round the clock. Attendees can use the camping’s and the beach’s showers (separate for men and women).
Adjacent to our festival you can find a public beach, open from 9 AM to 7 PM. The beach has its own house rules, which apply to every festival-goer. You can only swim in the area marked by the buoys. During the opening hours, the beach has a coast guard. The beach cannot be used by intoxicated individuals.
Parking lots on the Szalki-sziget peninsula are free of charge, including those near the festival entrance. The security staff, collaborating with the police, goes on frequent patrols, but this parking lot itself is not guarded. The festival takes no responsibility for the cars parked in the outside parking lots. The parking lots are meant for our guests with weekly passes. When the parking lots are at capacity, those coming later will be guided to a free parking lot at the crossing of the roads Magyar út and Aranyvölgyi út. Those arriving with motorbikes and bicycles can park their vehicle in the marked parking lots at the entrance.
There is a mini convenience store inside of the festival where you can purchase groceries for the same price you would in a supermarket. Please support the festival by buying your groceries, mineral water and other necessary products in the convenience store.
Lighting a fire in the festival area is strictly forbidden and dangerous. All festival goers may be captured on photograph and cannot have any claims or demands towards the photographers or the organizers; however, individuals on any photos may only be named with their consent. You may only create sound and video recording with the organizers’ permission. It is forbidden to conduct any commercial or marketing activity at the festival. The festival will proceed even in unfavourable weather conditions.
Have fun at the festival!
